Quality Assurance

At Cunningham & Dickey we consider the quality of our service to you to be extremely important. Purchasers of legal services around the world, in both Private and Public sectors, increasingly look for Quality Assured suppliers. We hold two quality assurance standards:

ISO9001:2008

ISO9001:2008 is recognised worldwide as an independent quality management standard. Cunningham & Dickey has full ISO9001:2008 Quality Assurance which is audited biannually by independent auditors to ensure that we satisfy the high standards of this quality and risk management standard. This is the latest edition of the international standard used by organisations as a global benchmark for providing assurance of an organisations ability to satisfy quality requirements and enhance client satisfaction.

Lexcel

Lexcel is the Law Society's Practice Management Standard which certifies that standards set down by the Law Society have been met following independent assessment. The Lexcel Practice Management Standard is awarded only to solicitors who meet the highest management and customer care standards. To achieve Lexcel accreditation, practices undergo a rigorous independent assessment every year to ensure that they meet standards of excellence in areas such as client care, case management and risk management.

As a Lexcel accredited practice, independent assessors have determined, following inspection and subject to ongoing inspection that Cunningham & Dickey provides a quality assured service to clients by demonstrating the following:
  • Commitment from all staff towards delivering enhanced customer care and regular updates for all clients in progress, cost and time scales.
  • Ongoing consideration by the practice to the service to be provided to clients.
  • commitment towards the supervision of all staff within the practice to ensure that mistakes are at a minimum.
  • A well managed legal practice.

ISO9001:2008 and Lexcel are "living" standards. This practice is subject to regular assessment by independent auditors in relation to both standards to ensure that the practice continues to meet the required standards of excellence on an ongoing basis.
